REItrades LLC – Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how REItrades LLC (“REItrades,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, shares, and safeguards information when you access or use our nationwide commercial real-estate marketplace (the “Platform”). By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described below.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to information we process about:

  • Visitors to reitrades.com and its sub-domains

  • Registered buyers, sellers, and other account holders

  • Individuals who interact with REItrades via email, phone, or third-party integrations

It does not cover third-party websites or services that link to or from our Platform.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18, and the Platform is not directed to minors.

3. How We Use Information

  • Platform Operation – authenticate users, display listings, facilitate deal workflow, generate standardized documents

  • Transaction Processing – coordinate escrow, calculate and collect our 0.10% buyer closing fee, issue invoices, file 1099s where required

  • Referral & Finder’s-Fee Compliance – determine whether a deal falls under a direct finder’s-fee model or a local-broker referral arrangement (see Terms of Use §3)

  • Analytics & Product Improvement – monitor traffic patterns, diagnose errors, optimize features

  • Marketing (limited) – send service announcements, feature updates, and CRE market insights (you may opt out at any time)

  • Legal & Security – detect fraud, enforce contracts, respond to lawful requests, maintain audit trails required by state real-estate commissions

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We disclose it only to:

  1. Service Providers & Contractors – cloud hosting, payment processors, analytics vendors, document-signing platforms, escrow/settlement agents (bound by confidentiality)

  2. Local Licensed Brokers/Agents – only in jurisdictions that require a referral arrangement; limited to data needed to complete the transaction and pay the referral fee

  3. Counterparties & Their Advisors – information you choose to share in data rooms or chat

  4. Regulators & Law Enforcement – to comply with legal obligations, licensing audits, subpoenas, court orders, or similar processes

  5. Corporate Transactions – if we merge, acquire, or sell assets, information may transfer as part of that deal (subject to this Policy)

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use first- and third-party cookies, pixel tags, and local-storage objects to:

  • Keep you logged in

  • Remember preferences

  • Measure aggregate usage and campaign performance

You can adjust browser settings to block cookies, but parts of the Platform may not function.

6. Security Measures

  • TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit

  • AES-256 encryption at rest for sensitive data

  • Role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication for staff

  • Annual penetration testing and SOC 2-aligned safeguards

No method is 100% secure; please report any suspected vulnerability to support@reitrades.com.

7. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary to:

  • Fulfill the purposes outlined in §3

  • Meet regulatory retention periods (e.g., state real-estate rules, IRS)

  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements

Thereafter, data is anonymized or securely deleted.

8. Your Choices & Rights

If You Are… You May…
Any User (U.S.) Access, correct, or delete account information via your dashboard or by emailing support@reitrades.com. Opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link.
California Resident (CCPA/CPRA) Request: (i) categories & pieces of personal info collected, (ii) deletion, (iii) correction, or (iv) opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (we do not sell PI).
EU/UK Data Subject (GDPR) Exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or objection by contacting us. Our lawful bases are contract performance, legitimate interest, and legal compliance. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses for any EU→U.S. transfers.

We will verify your identity before fulfilling any rights request and respond within the timeframe required by law.

9. International Transfers

Because we are U.S.-based, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries with different data-protection standards. We use contractual protections (e.g., SCCs) for cross-border transfers where required.

10. Third-Party Links

Our Platform may contain links to third-party sites (e.g., mapping tools, data providers). We are not responsible for those sites’ privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If we make material changes, we will:

  • Post the revised Policy with a new “Effective Date,” and

  • Provide 10 days’ notice via email or prominent in-app banner (for registered users)

Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
